Wed got late so we ended up finding a place to go mountain biking and rock hounding. We had planned on seeing Dead Horse Park, but were too late. (That’s first on our agenda today. ) The biking rocked!! The rock finding was cool. And we had a great day!

What a gorgeous day! Very little wind, bluish skies (we expect some rain), cooler. Just beautiful. Chris swept out half the sand. I was shocked at how much there was. Rock hounding by the slick rock

Although why the call it slick rock is beyond me. It’s smooth, but grippy. And gorgeous! We searched for rocks in the draw then hiked to the top. The girls are amazing. Lunch and wind

Yesterday was so incredibly windy. Many gusts hit 40+ mph, but it hit up to 53 in the early afternoon. Yikes! So we grabbed lunch, headed back to the cabin for a short while and back out for some rock hounding! (I can’t remember what I posted yesterday so if this repeats, forgive me!)
