Andi, Chris and the Girls
So sorry to hear about Ellie. Tell her the good news is I know from experience femurs broken on ski slopes heal very well. I broke mine in 7th grade – hit a pole on a green circle after race team practice. Tell her to be thankful she is not in traction and getting a plate. Her way will be much better, but without the cool scar to show her friends when she gets older.
Again so sorry for the accident and we are hoping for the best.

There are two “little” people living in Crested Butte these days that you know mean the world to us. To hear of one Ellie suffer so just tears us apart. To see Sam be there for her is more than heartwarming. There are also two “big” people living in Crested Butte that also mean the world to us. I feel you both are “here” to continue to inspire everyone as parents how the love and care of their children must be done to produce these incredible gentle souls known as “Ellie and Sam”. Please know you are always in our hearts and prayers especially for Ellie at this time, and as ever if you need anything at all, we are here for all of you.
We can’t wait for this summer’s day visit when we see can Ellie and Sam running about through the flowers together again!
